Tier 4

I really hope that the title of this post makes no sense to anyone in a few years time. Louisa has been in Tier 3 for the past 6 weeks and now both I and Louisa have been put in Tier 4. I suspect that this will last for around 2 months so it is going to be March / Easter before I get to check her moorings. That is 4 months. Worried yes, but hopefully someone at the club is keeping an eye on things.

  1. Hi Bernie. Much the same here although Sancerre is out of the water, I went down to the Hamble yesterday to put the engine water pump back on, refit the Blake's seacocks and completed rewiring of the automatic bilge pump so, having already got one coat of anti foul on at least I can put her back in the water with just a days work.

Hopefully it will only be a month or so and we can get to work again. See you in Baltimore, this time I am thinking of starting in Pwllheli. John

    1. Hi John, it is looking increasingly likely that I won't be doing the Jester in 2021. I have a work contract that is hopefully going to see me through to retirement and I haven't been able to do the miles I want in preparation. I want to be better prepared next time after under preparing twice now and almost paying the price on the way home last time.

I hope all of the work you are doing comes together and you get to Pwllheli, after that is it all down hill to Baltimore and Terceira :-)

      cheers, Bernie
